Independent specialists

Under the flag of BiomassConsult several highly-experienced specialists are active from the Netherlands, Moldova, and Portugal. These specialists often perform consultancy projects independently, and sometimes join forces. They share their experience and knowledge of working in the biomass sector.

Field of expertise

Our main clients are producers, traders, and distributors of wood pellets and other solid biomass products. We also consult governmental and non-profit organizations, as well as power plants.

BiomassConsult is active in many countries in Europe. We developed, for instance, the first SBP Supply Base Evaluation for Portugal. Most biomass producers in Portugal have adopted our approach, and with success. The geography of our projects is expanding every year. We have assisted companies in the USA and Canada, and, most recently, in Vietnam and Brazil.

In addition to core business BiomassConsult’s specialists participate in working groups on the development of several certification systems, are invited to biomass industry conferences as speakers, conduct training for certification managers and also assist realize with innovative, non-standard projects.
